I don’t think Tolkien disliked the Christian allegory in Narnia because Lewis originally gave him just the first 3 chapters of narnia to read, and He hated them. The first 3 chapters are just Lucy going into the wardrobe and coming back. Tolkien also had some Christian symbolism in the lord of the rings, with the rings representing the corruption of sin.
He disliked the way in which Lewis wrote about Christianity in Narnia- Tolkien was also religious-but it was the manor in which Lewis approached his world-building and the transparency in which he mentioned Christianity that Tolkien did not care for. I would be careful not to confuse allegory and symbolism- Tolkien did not care for allegory- he preferred readers make their own interpretations- but that does not mean there wasn't Christian symbolism in his stories- i.e. the rings. The chief difference is Tolkien left things up for interpretation, whereas he felt Lewis did not.
